Nickel is a cousin of the Prince. He first appears in Katamari Damacy, then the rest of the sequels. Nickel is a robot cousin meaning that his body is made of metal. It was said that Nickel has now two batteries meaning that his power will go up by 20%, and that he listens to heavy metal music.[1]

Nickel has a rounded body, regular limbs, a hollow and cylindrical head with bevels on the sides, and a seam with screws running down the front of his body.

Nickel's body is now rectangular with visible panels and screws on its front and two batteries on its back. His hands now end in clamps and his legs end in black wheels. His head-bevels are gone and his head-holes have been plugged up by bright red cylinders.
